Auto Haul Express LLC or AutoCarShip LLC

AUTO HAUL EXPRESS LLC is registered under MC-1618777 / USDOT 4197700 and was shown as holding active FMCSA broker authority in the August 2026 audit. AutoCarShip is presented in the company’s terms as a trade name of Auto Haul Express LLC. The website, phone, and email tested as working, but identity consistency received only 2/5 because customers and public pages use Auto Haul Express, AutoCarShip, and in at least one account a similar Auto Haul Movers name. The company had roughly two years of operating history, so its long-term complaint and resolution record is still developing.

The review profile is mixed rather than uniformly poor. Google was recorded at 4.8★ from 37 reviews, TransportReviews at 5.0★ from 24 reviews, Trustpilot at 4.1★ from 197 reviews, and Yelp at 3.2★ from 13 reviews. Positive accounts often name helpful booking agents and describe timely delivery. The audit found no BBB profile, so there is no BBB grade or complaint-resolution history to use as a cross-check. Review consistency scored only 1/3, and overall complaint severity also scored 1/4.

Communication, pickup, delivery, and willingness to use the company again were graded Mixed; price honesty and problem handling were graded Weak. The most important complaint described a deposit followed by a price increase that allegedly brought the total to roughly twice the initial quote. That is a customer allegation, not a court finding, but it directly supports the High price-risk classification. A targeted search did not identify a public lawsuit or government enforcement action directly attributable to AUTO HAUL EXPRESS LLC or AutoCarShip as of August 29, 2026. That does not prove no private or local case exists.

This broker is marketed as a budget option, but pricing earned only 5/15. Price consistency and bait-and-switch protection each scored 1/5, and the final audit applied a six-point medium penalty. Before paying, customers should demand a written breakdown of the broker fee, carrier payment, refund conditions, and the exact events that permit a price change. If the document allows the broker to increase the price whenever a carrier does not accept the quote, the advertised amount should be treated as an estimate rather than a guaranteed total.

Standard open transport is listed as the primary use case, but open transport itself was graded Mixed. Enclosed transport and urgent pickup were graded Strong; inoperable-vehicle transport was Mixed; luxury or classic transport was Weak. Route and service evidence totaled 5/10, including only 1/3 for route-relevance confidence. Customers should verify that an actual carrier has accepted the route and price before relying on a pickup date.

The working website and contact channels are positive, but the brand score was 6/10. The largest transparency issue is name consistency: Auto Haul Express LLC is the legal entity, while AutoCarShip is the customer-facing trade name, and similar names appear in reviews. The absence of a BBB profile and the short operating history reduce the amount of independent resolution evidence available. Consumers should match every contract, payment recipient, MC number, and dispatch notice to AUTO HAUL EXPRESS LLC / MC-1618777 before proceeding.
