Pickup planning
San Antonio
Regional context for Texas; confirm restrictions at your exact address.
- Road network and location
- I-35, I-10, and I-20 connect widely separated Texas markets. A Dallas quote is not a useful substitute for a Houston, El Paso, or rural West Texas pickup.
- Loading access to discuss
- Large metro distances and rural access can both change the handoff plan. Provide the exact address and discuss loading restrictions before dispatch.
- Weather and scheduling
- Gulf storms, severe thunderstorms, heat, and occasional winter disruptions affect different regions. Ask about the full journey rather than treating Texas as one weather zone.
- Before authorizing pickup
- Describe lifted trucks, oversized tires, and aftermarket equipment accurately. Vehicle size and weight can affect the trailer space required and the final quote.
