Report loaded length, width, height, weight, axle spacing, and the exact equipment configuration. Include cradles, attachments, support beams, and any part that cannot be removed for transit.
Ask what the quote includes
Confirm permit fees, route surveys, utility coordination, escorts, restricted travel hours, tolls, waiting, and weather contingencies. A permit service may be included while a police escort or utility lift is not.
Verify the destination too
A legal highway route can still fail at a low bridge, narrow gate, marina, farm lane, or job site. The final approach needs the same attention as the interstate miles.
