Map vehicle pickup, household loading, flights, hotel or storage dates, new-home access, work start, and any temporary transportation. Use a delivery range and add contingency days for weather, traffic, carrier scheduling, and address changes.

If the vehicle is needed immediately, compare expedited service with the cost of a rental or rideshare backup. Paying more does not remove every operational risk, so confirm what the service actually guarantees.

Coordinate movers, storage, and access

Tell the broker and carrier whether the vehicle will be at a residence, storage site, apartment, office, or moving facility. Confirm street width, parking, gate hours, and who can release or receive the car.

For multiple vehicles, ask whether they can be scheduled together and whether each one has separate condition and payment records. A single family move can still require different equipment or pickup points.

Protect the handoff during a busy move

Photograph each car before pickup, remove personal property, and give a trusted representative written authority if you cannot attend. Keep keys, documents, quotes, and inspection records labeled by vehicle.

At delivery, inspect before signing even if movers are waiting. Record damage or missing items immediately and preserve the paperwork before the vehicle goes into storage or daily use.
