Start with the official requirement
Confirm whether the move is personally arranged or covered by a government program, what ports or contractors are authorized, and which documents and inspection standards apply. A commercial broker cannot replace an official transportation office.
Prepare the vehicle carefully
Use the required fuel, battery, personal-property, and inspection rules. Keep orders, title or registration, identification, booking confirmation, and condition reports together, but do not send sensitive documents to an unverified contact.
Plan around reporting dates
Build a buffer for pickup, storage, port processing, and delivery. If orders change, communicate in writing immediately and ask what options the contract provides.
