Prepare the machine

Control the loading zone
Keep bystanders clear, use a spotter, confirm ramp alignment and surface stability, and stop if the machine shifts or the trailer settles unexpectedly. Loading and unloading should have one clear signal authority.
Secure and recheck
Use the required number and rating of chains, binders, blocking, and attachment restraints at approved points. Recheck securement after the initial travel period and after any major stop.
