Give the provider the vehicle’s actual dimensions and disclose roof boxes, racks, lift kits, wide tires, spare tires, and accessories. Factory dimensions may not describe a converted or modified vehicle.

Vehicle systems can change the handling plan

EVs, hybrids, non-running vehicles, cars with air suspension, and vehicles with locked wheels need accurate operating information. Ask how the provider handles charging, battery isolation, winching, steering, and clearance rather than assuming a standard drive-on process.

RVs and campers can include awnings, propane systems, slides, generators, and contents that need separate preparation. The more equipment a vehicle carries, the more important the written loading and contents plan becomes.

When comparing prices, use the same pickup window, delivery range, open or enclosed equipment, running condition, access, and insurance assumptions. A lower quote may omit a required service or assume a terminal instead of door delivery.
